Its fascinating to see how playscapes can be interpreted and reinterpreted by different places and sources. The visual artists Metahaven have used the Aldo van Eyck igloo play element as a part of their latest film Elektra from Metahaven:
“Elektra” premieres in Hamburg as one of the new films of The New Infinity @berlinerfestspiele at @planetariumhamburg. It was our first opportunity in working with 250 degrees optics with @remkoschnorr, our first experience filming with children (Jasmijn Xun Hamans and Valentina Di Mondo) and the first time working with amazing composer @k__lc thanks so much to all involved and more soon

Finally it has been featured in the latest Monocle Magazine Issue 125 as part of an article called play it cool looking at the attitudes to play and playgrounds in a number of different cities. From Monocle:
